New Leader Battery Industry Ltd. was established in 1983, the company is now one of the leading battery manufacturers in Hong Kong. With our experience and comprehensive production facilities, our batteries are endorsed globally by electronic toys, gifts and premium industries.

We believe that Mercury free batteries will propel us towards the leading edge in world battery technology; Mercury free batteries will also fulfill our mission statement towards environment friendly batteries. Since 1998, we have invested large amounts of resources to the research of Mercury free alkaline button cells. At the end of year 2000, we have successfully launched the world's first Mercury free buttons cell and gained the patent in HKSAR, China ; This new leading technology is now pending to be patented in other countries as well. These new products are well endorsed by many renowned toys, gifts, and premium enterprises.
New Leader Mercury Free Button Battery is fully complied with EEC RoHS directives, 98/101/EC, 91/157/EEC battery directives as well as to meet with EEC or US electronic and electrical industrial standard.
Our Guangdong Zhaoqing factories were built on self-owned land. It composes of 6 blocks, 500 thousand square feet multi-storey factory. Currently we are employing over than 3000 employees and are building more production plant to meet with the ever growing demands of our clients. |

We are currently employing more than 300 staff in Quality Assurance (Q.C), Research & Development, and production engineering to carry out the ISO9001 Quality Management system. From Raw materials through to each part of processing and the final product are under strict quality control to ensure all New Leader battery are one of the best and longest lasting battery in the world.
Other major departments such as metal parts stamping, plastic o-ring injection, electroplating, assembling and logistics services, formed a complete and efficiency chain of production.
New Leader is planning to develop more environment friendly batteries and promises for priority customer service to reward their continuous support.
